DescriptionGrowControl™ SXW Weather Station is packed with sensors for monitoring climate including temperature, relative humidity, ambient light, atmospheric pressure and air quality sensors standard. Also available with Agrowtek's wind speed anemometer, wind direction vane, IR rain sensor and CO2 ppm sensors. Get accurate outdoor environment data and monitor air quality to make intelligent decisions in your facility and ensure compliance with emission regulations. Mounted in a robust outdoor rated polycarbonate enclosure with intelligently designed forced-air flow path for optimal sensor accuracy and resistance to the elements. Easy ground-level installation, optional external wind and rain sensors. Connects to Agrowtek's GrowControl™ Cultivation Controllers as part of a complete facility control solution. Compatible with third-party PLC's and building automation via the MODBUS protocol. Improved EnclosureNew enclosure design offers enhanced protection from elements including dust and mists while maintaining high air flow for sensor accuracy. A new hanger design simplifies installation allowing the cable to double as a rope to suspend the sensor. Air Quality SensorThe AQI sensor detects the presence of VOC's (volatile organic compounds) in the air and reports an "Air Quality Index" value between 0-500 with 100 being typical air quality. When the sensor reports below 100 the air quailty is better than normal and when it is above 100 the air quality is deteriorating. Identify unwanted emissions from your facility or contaminants in the outdoor air.
Atmospheric PressureSXW Weather Stations now feature an precise atmospheric pressure sensor which can be configured for your elevation to report the local barometric pressure. Track incoming storms and be better prepared for weather conditions. Carbon DioxideUpgrade the SXW Weather Station to include a CO2 ppm sensor module in order to monitor CO2 levels with accurate and reliable NDIR sensor technology. CO2 sensor module installs inside of the SXW and can be upgraded in the field. Sensor is factory installed if ordered as an option. Wind SensorsAdd a wind speed anemometer and direction vane sensor to monitor wind conditions. Anemometer with 3-cup rotor masures wind speeds from 1 to 125 MPH. Extremely rugged for harsh conditions and sensitive to the slightest breeze. Wind vane uses German Hall effect sensor for precision and durability. Agrowtek's wind vanes have zero dead band, are near-zero friction with a theoretical infinate life. Rain SensorSensitive rain sensor can detect a single drop on the sensor dome and works in all weather conditions. Know when it is raining and take action to close vents. Mounting KitsOptional mounting kits provide a simple and robust solution for mounting your weather station components; select the mounts necessary for the sensors and components that your weather station is equipped with.
