Description

THC series Temperature and Humidity Controllers are designed for intelligent control of standard HVAC systems and dehumidifiers in growing environments. Featuring advanced reheat and external humdity control options that are unique to indoor agriculture requirements. Operate heating, cooling, reversing valves, reheat dehumidification and standard humidity equipment using 24VAC control.

Connects to GrowControl™ GCX Cultivation Control Systems for operation from a central controller. Monitor, log and grapth the THC's temperature and humidity data, operate from a external canopy sensors instead of the internal sensor, andschedule automatic changes to the set points.

The THC controller can operate off of the HVAC system's 24VAC power source as a stand-alone controller, or as a backup to continue operating in the event that the main control system becomes disconnected.

Six (6) total output contacts are integrated; (1) fan contact, (2) cooling stage contacts, (2) heating stage contacts and (1) separate configurable humidity contact for external humidifiers or dehumidifiers.

When operated as part of a GrowControl™ GCX system, the THC can:

• Report back it's on-board sensor readings for logging & alarms.
• Receive updated set-points from the main controller based on advanced scheduling.
• Manage all settings and configuration from the main controller.
• Operate based from external temperature & humidity readings instead of the internal sensor.

External Sensor

Precision canopy-based environment sensors can be configured to send readings to the THC unit for more accurate control at the canopy level when used with a GrowControl™ GCX control system. Logic in the THC detects loss of communication or external sensor data, and will operate on backup automatically.
